Rockhurst University junior forward Kaleb Jackson and Maryville University sophomore goalkeeper Christian Kjaersgaard have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in men’s soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Led the Saints defense with three saves on all three shots he faced in the 2-0 win over UW-Parkside Oct. 7, including a key save on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute to preserve the shutout
  • Had his fourth shutout of the year with two saves in a 2-0 win over Lewis on Oct. 9
  • Efforts marked the first time since Sept. 2006 that Maryville had back-to-back scoreless victories
  • Earns his third Defensive Player of the Week award (10/19/15, 9/28/15)
