Quincy University sophomore forward Abby Pulliam and McKendree University freshman goalkeeper Zoe Brochu have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in women’s soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday. 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Team Result: 5-1 home win vs. Indianapolis, 4-0 home win vs. Saint Joseph’s
  • Scored six goals for a total of 12 points in leading the Hawks to a GLVC sweep
  • Netted four goals in a 5-1 win over Indianapolis on Oct. 7, becoming the first QU player in 10 years to score four goals in a game
  • Friday’s effort marked her second career hat trick
  • Added two more goals in 4-0 win against Saint Joseph’s on Oct. 9
  • The former GLVC Freshman of the Year now ranks second in the GLVC in goals (seven) and points (16).
  • Earns her first Offensive Player of the Week award
