University of Indianapolis junior outside hitter Kacee Salyers and Bellarmine University sophomore libero Jordyn Kuchenbrod have been selected as the Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week for volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Results at Mizuno Midwest Region Crossover: 3-2 W vs. Lake Erie, 3-2 W vs. Hillsdale, 3-0 W vs. Grand Valley State
  • Averaged 5.08 points, 3.54 kills and 1.08 service aces per set while hitting .266 (46-17-109)
  • Added team-best 3.92 digs per set and 12 blocks
  • Totaled 17 kills and as many digs in five-set win vs. Lake Erie, scoring season-high 24.0 points
  • Notched career-high six service aces, tying the program record for a five-set match
  • Also added 16 kills and career-high 21 digs against Hillsdale along with five blocks and as many aces for 23.5 points
  • Finished with 13 kills and 13 digs with a season-high .435 hitting percentage in Indianapolis’ first-ever win over Grand Valley
  • Recorded a double-double in all three matches
  • Named to Mizuno Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover All-Tournament Team
  • Earns her first Offensive Player of the Week award
