Lewis University sophomore outside hitter Elizabeth Hyland and Bellarmine University sophomore libero Jordyn Kuchenbrod have been chosen as the Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week for volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Results: 3-0 W at William Jewell, 3-2 W at No. 25 Rockhurst

• Averaged 4.0 kills per set and hit .385 (32-7-65) on the week
• Added 15 digs (1.88 per set) and three block assists, scoring 36.5 points
• Converted match-high 20 kills and hit .425 in five-set, come-from-behind win at No. 25 Rockhurst
  • Nine of her 20 kills came in games four and five as Lewis used a 39-18 run to clinch the match
• Recorded match-high 12 kills in sweep over William Jewell, hitting .320
• Earns her first career Offensive Player of the Week award
• Was named Defensive Player of the Week on 10/10/16
