Lewis University junior middle hitter Aly Schneider and senior libero Nicole Yuede have been selected as the Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week for volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Results: 3-1 W at UW-Parkside, 3-0 W vs. Indianapolis, 3-0 W vs. Saint Joseph’s

• Averaged 4.33 kills per set (39 total) and hit .578 (39-2-64) in three matches
• Keyed Flyers to four-game win at Parkside with 21 kills and .556 hitting (21-1-36)
• Hit a near-perfect .833 (10-0-12) to help Lewis achieve a rally-scoring-era record for team hitting percentage (.480, 39-3-75) vs. UIndy
• Collected seven total blocks (one solo) and four digs during the week
• First player to earn four offensive weekly awards in the same season and just the third offensive or defensive player overall to do so
• Earns her fourth career Offensive Player of the Week award (9/5/16, 9/19/16, 9/26/16)
