INDIANAPOLIS – University of Southern Indiana senior guard Jeril Taylor has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

- Named Most Valuable Player of the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic
- Averaged 30.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game
- Shot 18-of-37 (.486) from the floor and 10-of-19 (.526) from three-point range
- Recorded 30 points on 8-of-16 shooting (.500), along with eight rebounds, two assists and two steals against Florida Southern
- Netted 31 points on 10-of-21 shooting (.476) with five assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block versus Kentucky Wesleyan
- Hit a go ahead three-pointer with 53 seconds and converted four free throws to seal the win over Kentucky Wesleyan
- Earns his first career Player of the Week award
