Quincy University senior forward Joseph Tagarelli has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

- Shot 26-for-47 (55.3) from the floor for the week
- Recorded 30 points on 12-for-20 shooting, while collecting 20 rebounds, three assists and two steals in just 23 minutes in 109-56 victory over Robert-Morris Springfield last Monday
- His 20 rebounds marked the most for a Quincy player in more than 10 years
- Totaled 22 points, 12 rebounds and three assists in 72-71 win over Tiffin in Puerto Rico Classic on Friday
- Finished Puerto Rico Classic with 16 points and nine boards in 91-83 win over Northwood
- Currently averaging 17.7 points (58.6 FG%), 10.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals this season
- Earns his first career Player of the Week award
