INDIANAPOLIS – Quincy University senior forward Joseph Tagarelli has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

• Averaged 22.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 blocks per game in two wins
• Shot 17-for-26 (65.4) from the floor for the week
• Scored 15 points and collected six rebounds and four blocks in 90-70 win over MacMurray last Wednesday
• Posted 29 points, 17 rebounds and three assists in 91-90 league win over rival Truman State on Saturday
• Converted 10 of 17 shots from the field (.588) against the Bulldogs, which included the game-winning basket with 12 seconds remaining
• Registered his seventh double-double on the season
• Helped Hawks to 3-0 start in GLVC play and their ninth straight win overall
• Earns his second career Player of the Week award (11/28/16)
