University of Southern Indiana senior guard Jeril Taylor has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

• Averaged 22 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.7 steals in under 25 minutes per game in three wins last week
• Shot 24-of-45 (.533) from the floor, with 15 shots attempted each game
• Recorded 23 points on 9-of-15 (.600) shooting, along with 12 rebounds, three steals and two assists in 24 minutes in home win against Bluefield College on Wednesday
• Netted 21 points on 7-of-15 (.467) shooting, with eight rebounds, four steals and two assists in 23 minutes in road win over Martin Methodist at Bellarmine Classic Friday
• Posted 22 points on 8-of-15 (.533) shooting, while recording five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 27 minutes against Kentucky State at Bellarmine Classic Saturday
• Earns his second career Player of the Week award (11/21/16)
