University of Southern Indiana junior distance runner Bastian Grau and Saint Joseph’s College junior jumper Phil Thompson have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday.

• Finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 15.00 meters (49’2.5”), good for first in the GLVC and ninth in NCAA Division II
• Placed fourth in the long jump with an effort of 6.94 meters (22’ 9.25”), which ranks first in the GLVC and 31st nationally
• Third career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (2/17/16, 1/20/16)
