Truman State University senior guard Cory Myers has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

- Averaged 21.5 points on 14-of-21 shooting (.667), 7.5 assists, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and just 2.5 turnovers in two GLVC road wins last week
- Posted school’s first triple-double since 1995 with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists against Maryville on Thursday, with each total falling one notch shy of his personal best
- The triple-double was accomplished with more than eight minutes left in the game, which also saw him become the 28th member of Truman’s 1,000-point club
- In those 33 minutes of action, he set career highs with eight field goals, seven three-pointers, and nine three-point attempts
- Filled up the stat sheet Saturday with 18 points, six steals, five assists, three rebounds, one block and only one turnover in 37 minutes of play at UMSL
- Earns his first career Player of the Week award
