University of Southern Indiana junior distance runner Bastian Grau and Saint Joseph’s College junior jumper Phil Thompson have repeated as Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday. 

MEN’S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Team Competition:  Indiana Wesleyan (No Team Scoring)
 

• Won the triple jump with a leap of 15.01 meters (49’3”), good for first in the GLVC and 10th in NCAA Division II
• Placed third in the long jump with an effort of 7.01 meters (23’0”), which ranks second in the GLVC
• Fourth career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (1/18/17, 2/17/16, 1/20/16)
• Last Saint Joseph’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week: Phil Thompson (1/18/17)
