University of Southern Indiana junior distance runner Bastian Grau and Saint Joseph’s College junior jumper Phil Thompson have repeated as Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday. 

MEN’S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Team Competition:  Indiana University’s Gladstein Invitational (No Team Scoring)
 

• Placed sixth in the Division I-loaded fast section of the mile in 4 minutes, 08.38 seconds
• Time marks the fastest in the GLVC this year and second nationally among DII runners
• Second career GLVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor (1/18/17)
• Last USI Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: Bastian Grau (1/18/17)
