University of Indianapolis redshirt-junior Stephanie Hirsch has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s tennis, it was announced by the league office Monday.

- Helped UIndy go 1-1 against Division I foes, including a shutout over in-state rival IUPUI
- Was the only Greyhound to win each of her contests to start the dual match season
- Played No. 2 singles against IUPUI, earning a 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (10-7) win vs. Sara Sherif
- Won 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 against Illinois State’s Jana Kustkova at No. 3 singles
- Paired with Selenay Heper at No. 2 doubles for an 8-2 win against IUPUI and 8-4 over ISU
- Earns her first career Player of the Week award
