University of Indianapolis sophomore Hanna Volikova has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s tennis, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

- Helped UIndy go undefeated against two in-state Division I foes, including a shutout over Valpo
- Combined for a 4-0 singles and doubles record in No. 1 singles
- Lost only two games in singles action, cruising past Butler’s Bailey Padgett (6-1, 6-1) and Valpo’s Kathleen Hebble (6-0, 6-0)
- Partnered with junior Florence Renard to win a pair of doubles bouts over Padgett and Rachel Sutton of Butler (8-3) as well as Hebble and Paige Heuer form Valp (8-4)
- Earns her second career Player of the Week award (3/29/16)
