Rockhurst University senior third baseman Seth Soto and junior pitcher Joe Huber have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week in baseball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

• Led team with .625 batting average (5-for-8) in two wins at Illinois Springfield, while posting a 1.000 slugging percentage and .667 on-base percentage
• Posted four runs scored, one home run, two RBIs and eight total bases in two wins
• Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a solo home run in the 8-3 season-opening win against the Prairie Stars on Saturday
• Was 3-for-4 with two runs score in the Hawk’s 16-6 win against UIS on Sunday
• Earns first career Player of the Week award
