Lewis University junior Nora Mindiyarova has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s tennis, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

- Helped Lewis go 2-0 on the week, including road wins over Atlantic Region No. 3 Mercyhurst and Midwest Region foe Walsh
- Won both doubles and singles matches, giving up just two sets each in both singles and doubles
- Shutout Mercyhurst’s Mantecon Duro in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles after an 8-0 win with partner Dora Andrejszki versus Adrianna Jeffress and Kayla Frost at No. 1 doubles
- Won again at No. 1 doubles with Andrejszki against Walsh’s Sofya Logunova and Mercedes Fernandez before topping Fernandez 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles
- Earns her fourth career Player of the Week award (2/23/16, 3/24/15, 2/26/15)
