University of Indianapolis junior sprinter Treyvon Matthews and sophomore thrower Austin Hogan have been named the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week of the 2016-17 season, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday.

• Improved upon his NCAA provisional mark in shot put with toss of 17.53 meters
• Threw 18.12 meters in the weight throw, which is one centimeter off his GLVC-leading toss of 18.13 meters.
• Currently leading the Conference in the shot and weight throw and ranked among the top 20 in each of the referenced events on the NCAA POP List
• Third-straight and fifth career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (2/14/17, 2/8/17, 12/13/16, 12/7/16)
• Last Indianapolis Indoor Field Athlete of the Week: Austin Hogan (2/14/17)
