Quincy University senior forward Joseph Tagarelli has been named the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week of the 2016-17 men’s basketball season, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

Team Result:  W, 97-92 at Truman State

• Scored 32 points on 11-of-17 (.647) shooting, and added eight rebounds, three assists, three steals to help the Hawks claim the GLVC West outright championship at Truman State
• Sealed the victory by scoring or assisting on team’s final four possessions
• Ended regular season tied for the league lead in points per game (20.3) and was first overall in points scored (588)
• Also ranked second in rebounding (8.4) and in the top 15 in field goal percentage, steals and blocks
• Earns his fourth career Player of the Week award (2/6/17, 12/12/16, 11/28/16)
