Colin HuberIndianapolis, Ind.The University of Missouri-St. Louis’ Colin Huber (Fenton, Mo./Rockwood Summit) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week. The sophomore forward guided the Rivermen to a 1-0-1 record last weekend against two nationally ranked opponents.
Huber scored the Rivermen’s only goal in their 1-1 tie against No. 25 UW-Parkside on Sept. 22. He connected for the score just 2:05 into the match and put the pressure on the visitors by supplying his team with a 1-0 lead.

Missouri-St. Louis returned on Sept. 24 to top No. 17 Lewis, 1-0. The Rivermen were again led by Huber who posted the match’s only goal at the 52:11 mark of the contest. Huber was unassisted on the score and his efforts helped hand Lewis just its second loss of the season.

Huber now has three goals on the year with all three scores coming against conference opponents. Two of his three goals have been the game-winner.

Missouri-St. Louis is 5-3-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the GLVC. The Rivermen will return on Sept. 29 and Oct. 1 for conference matches at Rockhurst University and Drury University.
