University of Indianapolis sophomore Hanna Volikova has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s tennis, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

- Went a combined 4-0 in No. 1 singles and doubles
- Helped No. 13 UIndy to a neutral-site regional win over No. 47 GVSU and a league victory at McKendree
- Won a come-from-behind match over the Midwest region’s 11th-ranked player in GVSU’s Madison Ballard 3-6, 7-5, 10-5
- Partnered with Florence Renard to defeat Ballard and Sumner 8-2 on Saturday
- Turned around Sunday to win in straight sets over McKendree’s Anna Mernick 6-0, 6-0
- Shutout Mernick and Tori Lindsay with Renard 8-0 prior to the singles’ sweep
- Earns third career Player of the Week award (2/14/17, 3/29/16)
