University of Indianapolis junior Nils Hoffacker has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s tennis, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

- Went a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles, helping UIndy pick up a home and road GLVC win
- Ran his win streak to 10 in singles with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over the 13th-ranked player in the Midwest, Alan Brachinsky of Lewis, at No. 2
- Followed the next day with a 6-0, 6-4 win over UIS’s Sam Clarke in the same slot
- Paired with Marco Razo at No. 3 doubles for 8-1 and 8-2 wins, respectively, against Lewis’ Benjamin Kasbeer and Anton Levitin as well as UIS’s Christian Timm and Parker Featherston
- Earns first career Player of the Week award
