McKendree University senior hurdler Irma Maciukaite and University of Indianapolis junior thrower Katie Monk have been named the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the 2017 season, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday.

Team Competition: Bellarmine Invitational (No Team Scoring)
- Gained personal best and NCAA provisional time of 1:00.83 in 400-meter hurdles, good for sixth in Division II this year, as well the stadium and meet record
- Ran new personal best to win 100-meter hurdles in 13.91, which is sixth in Division II and broke the stadium, meet and 18-year-old school record
- Also ran leg on winning 4x400-meter squad that nearly missed NCAA provisional mark of 3:48.77, which is currently first in the GLVC and among the top 15 nationally
- Competed on the runner-up 4x100-meter relay, which currently ranks second in the GLVC
- First career GLVC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor
