Quincy University junior designated hitter Troy Wehde and University of Southern Indiana junior pitcher Kyle Griffin have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week in baseball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

• Registered a 1.500 slugging percentage and 1.000 on-base percentage
• Posted multiple hits in each of his four games
• Started series with three-run home run and ended 2-for-5 in Quincy opener
• Finished Saturday with 2-for-2 outing with a home run
• Completed Sunday sweep a combined 5-for-5 with four RBI and four runs scored
• Earns first career Player of the Week award
