Lewis University junior middle distance specialist Zoe Mead and University of Indianapolis junior thrower Katie Monk have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday. 

WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Zoe Mead, Lewis
Jr., Middle Distance, Princeton, Illinois 
Team Competition:  Benedictine Duals (1^st, 199 points)
 

• Won the 800 meters by more than six seconds with a time of 2:12.81, good for second in the GLVC and 27^th nationally
• Second career GLVC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor (4/13/16)
• Last Lewis Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week: Amanda Farrough (4/19/16)
