William Jewell College senior hurdler Blake Alexander and University of Indianapolis redshirt sophomore thrower Austin Hogan have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

• Achieved NCAA automatic qualifying mark in discus at 55.69 meters, which is first in the GLVC and third in Division II
• Improved upon his NCAA provisional standard in the shot put with a toss of 16.63 meters, good for first in the GLVC and 12th nationally
• First career GLVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor
• Last Indianapolis Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Josh Bass (4/19/16)
