University of Missouri-St. Louis sophomore Jennifer Hauer has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s tennis, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

- Went 4-0 to close out the season, helping UMSL win a share of its first-ever GLVC West Division title that included an upset win over Midwest Region No. 4 Rockhurst
- Defeated Rockhurst’s Emma Schelble 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and picked up an 8-6 win over Hawks’ Kim Vrugteveen and Justine Berezintsev with partner Marina Prediger at No. 3 doubles
- Swept Jewell’s Whitney Holloman and Caroline Lane 8-0 in No. 3 doubles with Prediger before topping Becca Richison 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) at No. 1 singles
- Earns first career Player of the Week award
