Lewis University senior distance specialist Amanda Farrough and Missouri S&T sophomore vaulter Amanda Wetzel have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday.

Team Competition: Darrel Gourley Open (No Team Scoring)
- Won the pole vault by more than a foot, and did so in record-breaking fashion
- Broke the school record with an NCAA Division II automatic qualifying mark of 4.01 meters (13’1.75”) on her first attempt
- Then broke that mark by clearing her first attempt at 4.11 meters (13’5.75”), which ranks her fourth nationally
- First career GLVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor
