University of Indianapolis sophomore sprinter Brian Sales and senior thrower Vincent Ziraldo have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Thursday.

• Won the hammer throw with an improved NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 59.93 meters
• Throw ranks first in the GLVC and in the top-15 among NCAA Division II competitors this year
• Second career GLVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (4/30/15)
• Last Indianapolis Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Josh Bass (4/19/17)
