University of Indianapolis sophomore sprinter Brian Sales and senior thrower Vincent Ziraldo have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Thursday.

Team Competition:  Indiana Intercollegiate Championships (No Team Scoring)
 
  • Won 400-meter dash with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 47.78
  • Time ranks first in the GLVC and among the top 25 in Division II this year
  • Also finished second in the 200m (22.17) and ran on both the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay teams
  • First career GLVC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor
