Missouri S&T senior third baseman Adam Richter and University of Southern Indiana junior pitcher Kyle Griffin have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week in baseball, it was announced by the Conference office on Tuesday.

• Hit .563 (9-for-16) with one home run and one double, with five RBI and seven runs scored
• Registered 13 total bases and a .813 slugging percentage
• Posted a .563 on-base percentage with two stolen bases
• Recorded a hit in each of the four wins over UMSL, including three multi-hit games
• Opened with a 2-for-4 effort with a home run and three RBI, only to follow in the second game with a 3-for-4 mark with two runs one RBI and two stolen bases
• Finished series on Sunday going 1-for-3 and 3-for-5, the latter of which netted a double and three runs scored
• Earns first career Player of the Week award
