Lewis University freshman sprinter Allie Heinzer and University of Indianapolis senior thrower Lissette Mendivil have earned the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors of the 2017 season, it was announced by the Conference office Thursday.

  • Won the 400 meters with a leading NCAA provisional time of 55.73 seconds, and also ran on the GLVC-leading and Gina Relays champion 4x100-meter relay team in 46.79.
  • First career GLVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor
