Quincy University senior running back Chris Harris, McKendree University senior defensive end Tobias Cook, and University of Indianapolis senior kicker Brad Schickel have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday. 
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Team Result: 50-0 home win vs. Kentucky State

• Registered six tackles, including three solo stops
• Posted a sack for a six-yard loss, one of six sacks by McKendree in the win
• Intercepted a Thorobred pass just before halftime and raced 47 yards for a touchdown to cap a 29-point second quarter
• Led team to its first shutout since the 2015 campaign
• Earns his first Defensive Player of the Week award
