University of Indianapolis senior quarterback Jake Purichia and senior kicker Brad Schickel, as well as Quincy University junior linebacker Cody Leonard, have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Hit a season-long 37-yard field goal in the third quarter
  • Made good on all six extra-point attempts

  • Remains only kicker in the league still perfect in field goal and extra-point attempts combined
  • Maintains conference-best punting average of 40.8 yards per punt
  • Earns his second-straight and third Special Teams Player of the Week award (10/12/15, 9/11/17)
