Bellarmine University seniors Chris Stiegel and Erin Crone have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Runners of the Week in men’s and women’s cross country, respectively, it was announced by the Conference office on Tuesday.

Team Result:  2nd/3 DII Teams (Gold Race), 52 points, Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic
  • Claimed fourth place with an 8,000-meter time of 24 minutes, 54.13 seconds
  • Helped the Knights finish second to No. 2 Grand Valley State and ahead of No. 15 Rogers State
  • Earns his fifth career GLVC Runner of the Week award (9/22/15, 9/13/16, 9/22/16, 10/4/16)
