Missouri S&T’s Taylor Hahn (Salem, Ill.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Hahn, a junior pole vaulter for the Miners, posted a school record and NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark at the Washington Mini over the weekend.
She cleared a height of 11-9 ¾ to win the pole vault. Hahn finished just ahead of teammate Jamie Statler who finished second with a clearance of 11-5 ¾.
Hahn earned 10 points for the Miners who finished third in the eight-team meet with a team score of 93 points.
S&T will next compete at the Alabama Relays on March 28-29.
Other top performers in the GLVC last week included UIndy’s Courtney Kuzmicz.
