Rockhurst University’s Heather Robertson (Creal Springs,Ill.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week.
Robertson, a junior pitcher for the Hawks, led her team to five wins last week and played a role in all five decisions.
On the week, Robertson was 4-0 with one save and posted an earned run average of 1.63. She also struck out 29 hitters in 30 innings of work and surrendered just seven earned runs in the five outings.
Her best outing came in Rockhurst’s 6-0 win at William Jewell on Thursday. Robertson threw a five hit shutout and struck out 12 in the victory.
On the year, Roberston is 10-3 with a 1.38 earned run average and has 70 strikeouts in 86 innings of work.
Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Lewis’ Diana Pickrum, Missouri S&T’s Ashley Wallingford, Missouri-St. Louis’ Kelly Essner, SIU Edwardsville’s Kaitlin Colosimo, Southern Indiana’s Amy Harrison, UIndy’s Meagan Gutierrez and UW-Parkside’s Meagan Shimkus.
