The University of Wisconsin-Parkside’s Jessica Lamp (Powers Lake, Wis.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Lamp, a junior runner for the Rangers, posted a pair of NCAA Division II outdoor track and field provisional times at the Missouri Relays over the weekend.
She captured second-place in the 3,000-meter run on Friday with a time of 9:59.36 and then returned on Saturday to post the third fastest time in the 1,500-meter run. She secured a time of 4:41.06 in the Open Division of the 1,500-meters.
UW-Parkside will next compete at the Duke Invitational and the UW-Oshkosh Invitational this weekend.
Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Lewis’ Kelle Lederman, SIU Edwardsville’s Coreen Ellis and Southern Indiana’s Mary Ballinger.
