University of Illinois Springfield senior guard Eddie Longmeyer has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week for men's basketball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

• Averaged 24.5 points on 17-of-25 shooting (.680), 8.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals in two wins
• Tied his career high with 24 points on 7-of-12 (.583) shooting with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals against Harris-Stowe
• Posted a new career high with 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting (.769) with 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks versus Robert Morris-Peoria
• Also finished the week 15-of-20 (.750) from the free-throw line
• Recorded double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds in exhibition loss at NCAA Division I SIU-Carbondale
• Earns his first career Player of the Week award
