McKendree University junior sprinter DeMontez McCray and Lewis University senior multi-event specialist Bryce Holesinger have been named the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week of the 2017-18 season, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

• Won the heptathlon with a school record and NCAA provisional qualifying point total of 5,190
• Effort ranks first in the GLVC and seventh nationally
• Second career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (12/16/15)
• Last Lewis Indoor Field Athlete of the Week: Dan Lentz (1/26/16)
