McKendree University junior sprinter DeMontez McCray and Lewis University senior multi-event specialist Bryce Holesinger have been named the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week of the 2017-18 season, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

Team Competition:  NTS, Missouri Holiday Opener
  • Covered 200 meters in a converted NCAA provisional qualifying time of 22.08 seconds, which ranks first in the GLVC and ninth in NCAA Division II
  • Tied his personal best time of 6.87 seconds in the 60 meters, good for first in the GLVC and 11th nationally
  • Fifth career GLVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor (11/16/15, 2/10/16, 12/6/16, 12/13/16)
