Truman State University senior forward Zach Fischer has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

• Averaged 18.5 points on 15-of-22 shooting (.682), 11.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in two GLVC road wins
• Opened week with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting, 12 rebounds and two assists in win at Missouri S&T on Thursday
• Was 8-of-12 (.667) from the floor and 3-of-5 from the perimeter, totaling 22 points to go along with 11 rebounds and two assists in road victory at Rockhurst
• Recorded his 10th and 11th double-double on the season
• One of only two league standouts to average a double-double this season (17.9ppg-7th; 10.9rpg-1st)
• Earns his second career Player of the Week award (11/13/17)
