University of Southern Indiana senior distance runner Bastian Grau and University of Indianapolis redshirt junior thrower Austin Hogan have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday. 

MEN’S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Team Competition:  NTS, UIndy Collegiate Challenge

• Won the shot put with an NCAA Provisional mark of 16.30 meters
• Took first in the weight throw with an NCAA Provisional distance of 18.97 meters
• Currently ranks first in the GLVC in both events and ninth and 22^nd nationally in the weight throw and shot put, respectively
• Sixth career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (12/7/16, 12/13/16, 2/8/17, 2/14/17, 2/22/17, 1/23/18)
• Last Indianapolis Indoor Field Athlete of the Week: Austin Hogan (2/22/17)
