University of Indianapolis freshman distance specialist Lauren Bailey and redshirt junior thrower Katie Monk have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

  • Placed second in the shot put with an NCAA Provisional throw of 14.09 meters
  • Finished third in the weight throw with an NCAA Provisional heave of 18.88 meters
  • Currently ranks first in the GLVC in both events, along with being nationally ranked sixth in the weight throw and seventh in the shot put
  • Third career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (2/15/15, 1/23/18)
