University of Indianapolis senior hurdler Treyvon Matthews and redshirt junior thrower Austin Hogan have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday. 

MEN’S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Team Competition:  NTS, Tom Hathaway Distance Classic

• Won the weight throw with an NCAA Provisional heave of 18.62 meters
• Took first in the shot put with an NCAA Provisional toss of 17.45 meters
• Currently ranks first in the GLVC and 11^th nationally in both events
• Seventh career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (12/7/16, 12/13/16, 2/8/17, 2/14/17, 2/22/17, 1/23/18)
