William Jewell College sophomore first baseman Christian Chalabi and Missouri S&T junior pitcher Dalton Erger have been respectively named the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week of the baseball season, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

• Hit .750 (6-for-8) with two triples, three doubles, eight RBI and five runs scored in three games
• Registered 13 total bases and a 1.625 slugging percentage
• Posted an .867 on-base percentage
• Opened with a 4-for-4 effort with a triple, two doubles and a walk with four RBI, only to follow with a 1-for-3 outing in the second game with a triple, walk, three RBI and three runs scored
• Finished series on Sunday going 1-for-1 with a double and four walks, including one RBI and two runs scored
• Earns first career Player of the Week award
