Lewis University sophomore sprinter Allie Heinzer and University of Indianapolis redshirt junior thrower Katie Monk have been named the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week of the 2017-18 season, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

  • Won the shot put (15.08m) and weight throw (19.17m) over the weekend
  • Remained first in the GLVC and fourth nationally in both events
  • Fourth straight and sixth career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (2/15/15, 1/23/18, 1/30/18, 2/7/18, 2/13/18)
