University of Illinois Springfield senior outfielder Nick Stokowski and freshman lefthander Colton Hale have been respectively named the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week of the baseball season, it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

• Registered 14 total bases and a 1.167 slugging percentage
• Posted an .706 on-base percentage; walked once and was hit by pitch four times
• Went 3-for-5 in Saturday’s doubleheader with a double, three RBI and two runs scored
• Finished series on Sunday going a combined 4-for-7 in the twin bill, homering and scoring three runs in each game, while totaling three RBI on the day
• Earns first career Player of the Week award
