Bellarmine University senior distance runner Erin Crone and Missouri S&T junior high jumper Skyler Ruszkowski have earned the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors of the season, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday.

  • Smashed school record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16 minutes, 46.93 seconds
  • Effort was a 12.19 second improvement on the previous school record
  • Also marked a 12.64 second improvement on her personal best
  • Time currently ranks her first in the GLVC and 13th nationally
  • First career GLVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor
