University of Southern Indiana junior Austin Nolan and Drury University sophomore Claire McCune have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Runners of the Week in men’s and women’s cross country, respectively, it was announced by the Conference office on Tuesday.

Team Result: 4th/34 teams, 160 points, Missouri Southern Stampede
- Placed third out of 323 runners and was the top NCAA Division II runner in the field
- Her time of 17 minutes, 34.60 seconds broke her own 5,000-meter school record that she set on the same course last year
- Finished just eight seconds behind winner Reagan Hausmann of Tulsa
- Guided Panthers to fourth place in the 34-team field that included four Division I programs, two nationally-ranked Division II teams, and seven DII squads ranked in the top 10 of their respected regions
- Reigning GLVC Champion, Runner of the Year and Freshman of the Year
- Earns her third career GLVC Runner of the Week award (9/26/17, 10/10/17)
